Wallabies and Wildlife in the Blue Ranges

Blue Range contains at present the biggest single surviving colony of the Yellow footed Rock Wallaby in Australia, due to concerted long term private conservation management to increase and save these endangered animals along with many other animals that live alongside them in this special area of the Flinders Ranges.

These animals are continuing to recover and spread to adjoining properties and are being used in relocation to other areas to extend their range. You will feel privileged to just sit and observe these animals in their native home as they go about their everyday life amongst the stunning peaks and gorges and valleys of the property.

No where can you get closer or see them better and provide a wildlife observer or photographers utopia and as such as a visitor to their home, you are asked to respect this beautiful shy wallaby, when you visit. Many other animals call Blue Range home, so look out for the many different Marsupials, Birds, Amphibians and Reptiles that are there and plentiful, if you just look or seek to see them.
